Saint-Georges-de-Cacouna or Cacouna is a village in the Rivière-du-Loup Regional County Municipality within the Bas-Saint-Laurent region of Quebec. It is located on the south shore of the Saint Lawrence River along Route 132.
The port of Gros-Cacouna is situated on the river. The Maliseet First Nations of Viger reserve also called Cacouna is located nearby.
The extensive salt marshes near the port are an important habitat for migrating waterfowl.
The name "Cacouna" comes from the Algonquian word Kakoua-Nak, meaning "land of the porcupine".
